Byron bay is a mecca for surfers offering some classy right hand breaks at The Pass for longboards, and impressive breaks at the Wreck and Belongil beaches, seen in the photo. It's also very chilled out with lots of bars, and attracts a lot of tourists and hip and trendy folk.
